About Webinar
The syndrome of Pyrexia of Unknown Origin (PUO) has long tested the skills of physicians to achieve a diagnosis in patients. It is characterized by the failure to reach a diagnosis despite one week of in-patient investigation. By definition, patients with this syndrome will be more difficult to diagnose as they have already resisted classification during baseline investigations.
The existence of different types of globally mobile populations, further add to the concern and demand an evolving approach to defining and evaluating PUO. Diagnosis of PUO via CBC enables early detection of this syndrome that was once difficult to diagnose.
