Transasia` s Scientific Milestones in White Papers
Compiled by-- Dr. Poonam Lalla, AGM –Scientific Marketing
With a strong presence in the IVD market in India for over four decades, Transasia Bio-Medicals has been at the forefront of developing innovative technologies and manufacturing world-class IVD products. A plethora of pathological tests has been conducted on Transasia’s high-end equipment, leading to important clinical decisions in the treatment modalities of patients.
Hence, we decided to dive deep into this real-time patient data and create a pool of scientific studies that has been published as White Papers in various international and national journals of repute. The real-time data analytics and scientific studies conducted in conjunction with well-known pathologists will help laboratories improve workflow, increase efficiency, and identify, evaluate, and solve problems as they occur in day-to-day operations.
Our White Papers will also serve as in-depth articles aimed at educating and informing the pathology community interested in medical research thus adding value to other aspects of instruments and their features.
We have compiled all White Papers Transasia has published so far; below is the link to all these published papers and reports to help our readers keep up with the pool of knowledge-based studies.
- Title: Effects of Diabetic Nephropathy on Phosphorus Homeostasis
Link: https://bit.ly/3CFRtZW
Synopsis: A paradoxical metabolic imbalance in inorganic phosphate occurs from the early onset of diabetes. This study is an attempt to find out the serum phosphorus levels in diabetic nephropathy patients and to find its association with HbA1c.
- Title: Role of C-reactive Protein (CRP) in determining neonatal infections
Link: https://bit.ly/2W3DEEQ
Synopsis: In this study, it was observed that CRP is one of the reliable diagnostic markers used in the diagnosis of neonatal infections and is preferred over the newly emerging infection markers. CRP assay has proven to be less time-consuming and more effective for analyzing samples of neonates who are already on antibiotics treatment.
- Title: Correlation of Serum Urea and Serum Creatinine in Diabetics patients and normal individuals
Link: https://bit.ly/3lRmh2X
Synopsis: The study indicates that proper and timely regulation of blood glucose levels will prevent the progression of Diabetes to Renal Impairment. Simple tests like Serum urea and serum Creatinine are helpful in uncontrolled diabetic patients to assess the damage done to the kidneys and their functioning.
- Title: Biochemical Analysis of Electrolytes and their role in Pediatric patients admitted to Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Link: bit.ly/3nWjtUZ
Synopsis: The electrolyte balance plays a key role in the treatment of critically ill patients. Also, the presence & accurate measurement of the electrolyte imbalance at the time of admission in critically ill children irrespective of the primary disease process is an important prognostic indicator in PICU patients where greater attention and proper analysis of electrolytes is recommended.
- Title: Performance Evaluation of Fully Automated 5-Part Differential Hematology Analyzer ELite 580 (ERBA)
Link: https://rdcu.be/cgS4w
Synopsis: This study showed that ELite 580 provides reliable results when compared with the LH780 analyzer which uses similar technology and the overall performance of the ELite 580 is comparable to that of the established LH 780
- Title: Diagnosis Embattled - Correlation of Serum Ferritin and Lipid Profile with severity of Dengue in the pediatric population
Link: bit.ly/3hWQZqs
Synopsis: The study has shown an excellent correlation between high serum ferritin levels and the severity of dengue in pediatric patients. However, the relationship between lipid profile as a whole or its components and the severity and/or prognosis of the dengue needs further research and assessment.
